This is the first time I have price matched at Target.  Walgreens was out, so I stopped at Target.  I was happy to see signs above every register advertising the low price guarantee.  Great, I thought, price matching shouldn’t be a problem!  Haha… so, I went to check out and found out that I couldn’t price match at the register, only at guest services.  So, I went there, and the cashier did not know how to price match, so someone else told him how.  Then, of course, Target’s register software decided not to take the full $2 off from my coupon.  Target registers have been programmed not to accept the value of a coupon beyond the price of a single item, even if the coupon is for multiple items.  Good thing I caught it, but since it was such a small transaction, the mistake was obvious.  Had I been buying more, I might not have caught the error.  So, when all was said and done, I got my 3 mostly free Nivea items, but I don’t know that it was worth my time.
