Good Prices - Pantry Items
This is the next post in my series of posts on good prices for items. This time I will be discussing strategies for purchasing pantry items. Since these items often have very long expiration dates, it’s easy to buy 10 of them when they are free/cheap with a coupon and just keep them in the pantry. Pasta lasts 2 years according to the box, so don’t worry about not being able to use...

Good Prices - Perishables
I’m going to be posting a series of what I consider to be good prices, after sales and coupons. I’m going to start with perishables, which includes produce, meat, and dairy. Of course, the thing with produce is that you often still need to buy it regardless of price, and coupons are rare.
These prices are from Maryland, NE of Baltimore.

Shifting focus
I’m tired of playing games. I’ve decided to more or less give up on CVS unless I can walk in with a coupon and get something free or super cheap. Couponing for charity
So, as you have probably noticed, I have accumulated far more personal care products than my boyfriend and I can use. So what to do with them? Donate! My apartment complex is collecting food and hygiene supplies for the food bank, so I filled 3 bags with soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and feminine supplies. I’m glad to clear out the space and have the stuff go to people who really need it. ...

Bleh!
Well, sadly, couponing has really become less and less fun lately. I just get increasingly hassled for using coupons in a completely legitimate manner. I almost don’t really feel like it’s worth the stress. My grocery store, Shop Rite is almost always fine about me using coupons. But I already stopped bothering with Walgreens and Rite Aid because they had poor stock and the...

week off
Well, I was planning to go to CVS on Sunday 8/22 to use my $5/$15, but an emergency came up and ate the whole day so I won’t be able to use it. :/ I’m also away on business as of this evening, so I probably won’t be updating much this week. I may decide to do some coupon tourism, though. :P
